Frisch gebackener Jungjäger – Welche Ausrüstung ist...
Hello everyone,
I recently successfully passed my hunting exam and now proudly hold my hunting license in my hands. Now comes the exciting (and somewhat overwhelming) part: getting started in practice.
Before I blindly buy everything advertised in the catalogs, I wanted to ask the group:
In your opinion, what equipment is really useful and necessary for a young hunter in the beginning?
I realize that this can vary depending on the area and type of hunting, but perhaps you can give us some tips from your experience about what you really need at the beginning – and what you can safely purchase later.
I don't currently have my own hunting ground, but I expect to be able to join a friend occasionally. The focus will probably be on stand hunting for now, and perhaps driven hunts later.

What I have so far:
Hunting license + insurance
Binoculars (8x56)
hunting knife
I'm still looking for a weapon and optics—I'm open to recommendations there, too. But I'm primarily interested in the general basic equipment for young hunters: Backpack? Clothing? Game recovery aids? What's truly practical?
